Fun Facts:
- This game was released 23 days after the original Secrets Can Kill was discontinued.
- HeR Interactive wrote a strategy guide for this game, but not for the original Secrets Can Kill.
- All the graphics in this game were remastered to a higher resolution with improved lighting and various updated textures and graphics.
- Detective Beech was a new character introduced for this game. The name Detective Beech was teased at the end of Secrets Can Killin the final cutscene and was mentioned in Stay Tuned for Danger.
- The remaster included some new puzzles and mini games. For example, Barnacle Blast was brought back from The Haunted Carousel and remastered for Secrets Can Kill REMASTERED.
- This game and Trail of the Twister share the same end game teaser trailer for Shadow at the Water's Edge as both Secrets Can Kill REMASTERED and Trail of the Twisterwere released before Shadow at the Water's Edge.
- Although this is one of the shortest and smallest Nancy Drew games, it still costs $19.99 after over a decade sincebeing released.
- There is a book in Aunt Eloise's house that contains a short story featuring characters from The Captive Curse which was, at the time, an upcoming game.
- Inside the chest in Aunt Eloise's house are a 21 yellow-back Nancy Drew books as a reference to the 80th anniversary of Nancy Drew.
- When playing Barnacle Blast, you start a new game with 8 lives and to get a new life you need 80000 points. Both the 8 and 80000 refer to the 80th anniversary of Nancy Drew.
- Some of the books in the library are books from past games.
- Hulk, Connie, and Daryl all got remastered character art and voices while Hal only got remastered visuals. The original voice recordings for Hal were recycled in liu of sourcing a new actor to record dialogue.
- There is a bunch of fan art placed around the game from a contest that HeR held to help promote the game.
- The students of the month board where Connie is featuresimages of the game's creators in the original Secrets Can Kill. HeR held a contest and the winners of the contest would be the students of the month in the remastered game.
- Unlike the original Secrets Can Kill, the remaster only had 1 disc instead of 2.
- The Vandelay Pharmaceutical Company was removed for this game which meant the original ending took place in adifferent location.
- This game got an updated cover art and logo for the remaster. The packaging maintained the same style of the past few games.
- Hidden around the school bulletin boards is a modified poster for The Vampire Diaries which was changed to The Campfire Diaries as HeR Interactive no longer owned the rights to The Vampire Diaries.

These are official cover art concepts that were submitted by the cover designer Mark Tolleshaug. The second concept was developed into the official cover art and HeR turned the first concept into a downloadable wallpaper.
