Do you need to complete the Duviri paradox? ›

The Duviri Paradox is an optional Quest, released in Update 33.0 (2023-04-26).

Nearly all the rewards you receive in Duviri will require Star Chart resources to build, so you'll need to play this quest regardless. The choice you make does not lock any core quests, progression, or other systems. For most players, we recommend you leave Duviri.

You only retain whatever materials you picked up in Duviri that you got before your last decree was earned, they act as a sort of "checkpoint" for your materials gathered so you need to do a main or side objective or otherwise find a random chest or something before you leave to actually get your materials.

Remember that Duviri was imagined as an alternative way to START the game and is balanced with new players in mind... but the lore and story of the mode is far more confusing than the "normal" start to the game.

The estimated time to complete all 39 Warframe achievements is 80-100 hours. This estimate is based on the modal completion time from 177 TrueAchievements members that have completed the game.

Warframe unfortunately is a perpetual, it has no end in sight and you always know there will be more Warframe.

All players will continue their post-Quest journey in Duviri by selecting one of three game modes: 'The Circuit' which provides a new Warframe Only endless game mode, 'The Duviri Experience' which is a full open world adventure, and 'The Lone Story' for a solo narrative experience.

So you can stay in theory, but I suppose if you find that little blinking thing annoying, you'll eventually be motivated to go to the other side. But once you do that, you can go back to Duviri any time. There are no hard cuts for the player.

Unlike most open world zones in Warframe, Duviri features roguelite elements such as randomized loadouts, build-enabling buffs called Decrees, and varied objectives. Completing Duviri runs will let you earn Warframe blueprints, exclusive Arcanes, and even Incarnon Adapters for certain weapons.

The first one is the eponymous world of Duviri, the game's newest free-roam landscape. This mode is exclusively tied to the Drifter and ships with its own intrinsic system, as well as melee gameplay mechanics like parrying exclusive to Duviri.

How to save an animal in Duviri? ›

In Duviri, animals such as Krubies, Kexats, and Tamms can occasionally be found suffering from Void corruption. Koral will ask the Drifter to save any animal they can find. Once an animal is seen, it must be approached without entering its field of vision (visible in red outline) and interact with it to heal it.

Only Zariman, open world maps, and defense/survival feature the ability to solo extract if you are done. capture missions in the void are full of trolls, don't forget to switch to solo when doing those.

Story wise, the Duviri story takes place during the start of New War. The events of New War trigger the start of the Duviri story. The Duviri story ends with Drifter showing up in New War. Gameplay wise, playing Duviri will not change your progress on the Warframe path.

The Duviri Paradox is a new beginning for Warframe. Literally. For the first time, new Tenno (the player's avatar in Warframe) will be able to choose whether to load straight into the new expansion content or the current opening mission, Vor's Prize.

The Duviri Paradox becomes available right after completing the Vor's Prize quest, which means it's an option basically from the beginning of the game. That puts new players in a difficult position.

The player must have completed Prelude to War. They must also own a Railjack and a Necramech, either from completing Rising Tide and Necraloid Syndicate after Heart of Deimos respectively or purchased with Platinum. Despite these requirements, the player is not expected to sufficiently mod their loadout for this quest.

The Paracesis is not required to start The New War, despite initially appearing on the Warframe's back even if the player doesn't own one or did not equip it prior to starting the quest. An unranked, unmoddable Paracesis is also temporarily given to the player toward the climax of the quest.
